we cruised this past January on the Minerva that holds 350 but only carries 200 in Antarctica and we had very smooth sea crossing the Drake Passage. We were extremely lucky!

 

I would consider you to be unlucky. The rough seas in the Drake Passage are part of the fun. The rougher the seas, the more fun it would be.

I have to agree Don! No point sailing on the worlds roughest crossing and not actually experiencing it at its "best" !!!!
