We will be docking at San Pedro in January on the Sapphire Princess. Our flight out of Long Beach isn't until the late afternoon. Does anyone have some suggestions for passing the time and then arrangements for a shuttle to LGB? or should we check in very early to get luggage taken care of and then do something in Long Beach?

Thanks!

We thought we would have the same dilemna a 2 years ago but we were so long getting off the ship that we only had an hour wait at the airport. LA decided to fingerprint anyone who was not American as they were getting off the ship and the wait was tremendously long. Even though we docked before 7:00, we were not through customs until almost 1:00. I suggest you don't pay in advance for any trips other than transfers to the airport just in case.
