cruisingbajan Posted December 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2010 Ok I will play along too. All of these threads about who is who I guess I will ask too. I have never heard of Stuart Dunn.... anyone have any feed back? He was the cruise director on my very first cruise on the Carnival Triumph. He is a native of Australia and always started his announcements with the typical Australian greeting...G'day Mate:D
CWcruisers Posted December 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2010 He is currently on the Spirit and had come over from the Elation. He's a great guy and trys to add some humor into those announcements. I especially love his Welcome to Honolulu greeting when you get back to your home port. Wonder what he says when they really do sail to Honolulu?
Lidolounger Posted December 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2010 We sailed with him last Jan on the Spirit. It was our first as Platinum and he was right there when we were tendering and made a point to get us on the first tender without us even asking - he saw the card and swooped right in.:) He was very visible on our cruise. gargoyle999 Posted December 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2010 Wonder what he says when they really do sail to Honolulu? I think it was something like "welcome to San Diego" when we arrived on the Spirit this past April. :)

Kenito Posted December 31, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 31, 2010 We've had Stuart as our CD twice already and will be seeing him again in 28 days! He hasn't scared us off yet! Always energetic, unflappable, and professional.
Rusty Aligator Posted December 31, 2010 #9 Share Posted December 31, 2010 I don't know who our CD was on the Sririt last TG, in 09. That's how much attention i pay when I cruise. can't be that I'm too busy in the casino, can it? Looks like I'm following you again, Ken. btw, how much snow did you get today? News flash.....I just checked my Capers from last year, Stuart WAS our CD. As dawn hits marblehead, It's coming back to me now. iggy's mom Posted December 31, 2010 #10 Share Posted December 31, 2010 He was our CD on the Spirit this summer in Alaska. We liked the humor he added to his announcements. He was very visible on the ship and very personable when we saw him on shore.
