Entry to UK with prior DUI

Have a question will a person with a prior DUI from 2009 have a problem with Entry to United Kingdom and France? I know Canada will deny you entry and have tried to search this topic and did not have much luck finding an answer. Thank you.

How will they know you had one? Its not listed in your passport.

 

Or, are you saying you got a DUI in Europe, are you planning to rent a car?

No the DUI happened in the US but Canada has access to the American databases and denies entry for DUI's so was not sure if the same thing happens in Europe.

Relax you'll have no problem; entry into Britain is very liberal. That could be a whole big discussion but let's not go there!

The only place you would have a problem is entering back into the US if the DUI was never taken care of and it's gone to a warrant..When you enter back into the USA from anywhere an automatic warrant search is done and will be inforced at customs..Happened recently to a guy coming back from a cruise to Mexico...Always take care of all your business before leaving the country..I know this doesn't apply to the OP..but just a word of caution to others....

Thank you very much for your responses I have tried researching this and really could not find an answer just trying to avoid any problems once there. But yes all fines etc have been paid in the states so no worries there. Thanks again happy travels everyone :)
