Question about this board and control panel

I recently changed my setting to send me an instantaneous email whenever a post was added to a subscribed thread. However, this is not happening. I am getting no notifications at all.

 

Does anyone have this option and gets emails?? Or the once a day emails?? Is there something wrong in my setting??

Correct, it does. However, I set it to send me instantaneous emails to try that out, and I haven't received one all day, and obviously there are new posts in my subscribed threads.

I am subscribed to my Roll Call board and I get emails, but they are usually hours (if not the next day) later and I've usually read them all by then...

I am getting my emails almost immediately.

 

Have you made sure you email is entered correctly on CC?

I haven't been getting emails either. I checked my email address and it is correct.

Make sure they are not being blocked or going to Spam.

 

Try adding community@cruisecritic.com to your address book.

I know some threads I get emails and some I don't. It it even varies within the same thread. I keep any eye out in my spam folder, but they're not there. I just figure, I'll keep scanning when I need to to see if there are new posts I'm interested. If nothing else, those that I'm subscribed to have that little icon so it makes it very easy for me to find it.
