I have sailed to Bermuda 3 times with Carnival. Sailed twice in April and once in May. The weather both times in April were very nice, sunny and right around 70. This was middle to late April. Sailed once with RCCL at the end of May and the weather was horrible.Have not been in Sept or Oct. It really can depend. I would have loved to cruise back to Bermuda this April with our children but didnt want to take a chance that the weather would be too chilly. Bermuda is a great place and the itinerary that Carnival offers I think is real nice. 2 1/2 days in port. Plenty of time to see and do alot.

I have been to Bermuda 2 times on a cruise and 2 times by air to stay. It is the most wonderful place I have ever been. Bermuda is different. The people will not bother you on the beach trying to sell you things. They are very nice and proper people. I have a very good friend that lives there. If you go shopping, if you go into a store they like to have a Good Morning, Thank you, Good Bye. they are very polite and very nice people. I went in August and it was very warm. The ocean is really getting warm around June, it just depends. You could go to a beach with shallow Tobacco Bay if you are going in May, and it could be warm. There is a great beach bar called Gombeys close to the airport, and they have wonderful RUM SWIZZLES !! Gombeys is at Clearwater Beach, close to the airport. It was a base for the United States at one time. They are so good in the hot sun but they do sneak up on you. Horseshoe Bay is nice. You will love Bermuda. I have been to Bermuda in April, May, June, and August. In St George's, there is a small church called St Peters, one of the oldest churches in the world. It is beautiful, and the cemetary is so quiet and peaceful with the birds singing. In the church, the upper part is where the slaves could attend services, and in the cemetary past the walls is where they were buried. The Botanical Gardens is nice too. Swizzle Inn is a nice restaurant, there is two of them. Royal Dockyard is a nice place for shopping. St George's is a nice little town. A visitor can not rent a car on the island. A family is only allowed one car per family. You can rent scooters, but unless you are a experienced driver, I would not advise it. There is alot of accidents from people on scooters on the island. Bermuda is a very small island, but very beautiful. There are no fast food restaurants on the island except for one, in Hamilton, a Kentucky Fried Chicken, and only one of them. It is close to the bus stop. All the buses go to Hamilton and you change there. If you ride the bus which is really kinda an experience, they will take cash or you can get a pass. They are very helpful to tell you which bus to get to certain places. The Swizzle Inn has the signature drink called a Rum Swizzle, it is good there, but not like at Gombeys. Hope you enjoy your cruise to Bermuda.

I've been to Bermuda 3x and going back for #4 this fall....I love the Bermuda itinerary....3 days in port...free to roam the island at your pace...plenty to see and do...I recommend the getting the 3-day trans pass, it's about $28 and gives you unlimited access to the bus/ferry system, so getting around the island is convenient...and if you get the chance, spend an afternoon at the aquarium, museum, zoo (all in one)...it's beautiful (and only $10pp)

We have gone in Sept and Oct....I favor mid-late Sept....the weather is beautiful....usually sunny and about 80ish....the water is warm...and it is 'just' off season enough so it's not crowded...the people are super friendly, the island is clean and it's just a great experience...

(truth be told....I am scared to cruise the Mexico run....I've heard nothing but horror stories about it)...

Always wanted to do that trip but will never get to. Since the casino is not open while in port overnight,,,,husband won't go. Food and gambling are is two favorite things on a trip.

Maybe some day!
