BKJK Posted April 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Im wondering, how far away is the parking for Carnival Dream . I will be self embark at the end of our cruise, we have a long drive home. DO you have to wait for a shuttle to take you to your car? I noticed it said indoor parking or outdoor parking . If I will save time , I will use the port parking but if im gonna have to take a shuttle to my car then I might go ahead and stay at a park and cruise hotel. Thanks
JohninDC Posted April 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Have not sailed the Dream (yet :o), but every other cruise we've done from PC we just walked to the parking garage. Good luck! :)

Thanks Parking at the port is right there. Just cross a street. See the new thread on Parking in PC here. There's a new cheaper place to park that has a shuttle to the ships and picks you up on return, at 1/2 the cost. Leaves more $ in your pocket for DODs:D Good place for cruisers using Priceline and not getting a park n crusie rate at the Radisson.

gvidaho Posted April 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Just wondering if anyone has used the Park n Cruise lot on Sea Ray Drive? Is it a legit operation? Assuming so, how would you describe your experience? The shuttle service? Appears to be a good value, however seems like a risk. Please help. Anyone? Went out, check the place, met the owners and manager and the place is very clean and with a lot of extra help to keep everything safe and sound - they have the police check the area quite often and it is in a safe zone so there should be no problem
near the beach Posted April 12, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 12, 2011 If you have a long drive home I would not do a self embark. Relax. Walk to pick up the car without carrying all of your luggage. You will know the length of your walk to your car from when you parked your car before the cruise.
BKJK Posted April 12, 2011 Author #8 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Well we are gonna try to drive 17 hours straight through on the way home, so the sooner we get on our way the better.

Assuming so, how would you describe your experience? The shuttle service? Appears to be a good value, however seems like a risk. Please help. Anyone? I used them for my cruise last week - all I can say is excellent! Found the website a couple days before, and sent in a reservation. Pulled up on Friday, and was greeted by name when I got out of the car (they ask for make/model when you reserve). The owner said they had only been open for 15 days, and they were getting a great response. The building is an old "aircraft" type hangar, they have water/soda to purchase. Waited a couple minutes for the shuttle and loaded on with everyone else. Took less than 5 minutes to get to the port. Gave me a slip with the phone number to call incase the shuttle wasn't there to pick us up on the way back. When we disembarked Monday, we walked out to the designated area for pickup, and the shuttle arrived within a couple minutes. Another 5 minute ride back to the car, and we were ready to go. As a local to the Port Canaveral area, I usually would park onsite and pay the $15 per day, mainly because I'm impatient. But for my next PC cruise, I will for sure use this company again. Gma&Gpa Posted May 7, 2011 #11 Share Posted May 7, 2011 When we part at the Port, do we drive up, drop off our luggage and then go park? Or do we have to park first and then carry all our luggage to the porters?

Headed there next week, this is our first time to try Park'n Cruise. I usually just park at the port/terminal, but saving $40 is $40 more Drinks of the Day!:p
