Thanks! Our friends were going to hire someone to take the 3 of them from the port to the airport for $50. I told them I thought a cab would be cheaper and should be able to take 3 plus their luggage, correct?

Cab will be cheaper - under $30 including tip to most airport area hotels from POM. If they have lots of luggage the SUV and Mini-van style cabs offer more room for the same price. Good luck! :)

I stayed at the fairfield inn doral a couple of weeks ago, booked thru park, sleep fly, free shuttle to the port but I had to get a cab to return to the motel to get my truck, free parking for a week, anyway a cab was 36 bucks plus the tip
