4 day cruise options besides Cozumel.....

we are looking at planning an adult only cruise and right now it is set for the Elation out of New Orleans in January. Most of the couples going are from Louisiana. It will be a 4 day cruise b/c it will be most everyone else's first cruise. What are our options besides Cozumel? We are trying to get the best deal and cheapest rate by driving....no flying.

??? If you are doing the 4 day out of NOLA, there are no other options other than Cozumel?? Or maybe Im not understanding the question. Its the only port.

No other options on Carnival for a 4 night out of the gulf coast. Try Florida for different ports.

If you are willing to drive...Take the Destiny out of Miami, and do the 5-day Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Ends up to be a relaxing day, beach day, and a short excursion day (or have a great time on the boat when everyone gets off in Nassau).

 

Did this cruise in December '09...had a great time, and Half Moon Cay was the best beach day ever...I'd give anything to go back there again. :)

 

The 4-day Destiny out of Miami to Key West and Cozumel...did this Dec. '10, but wasn't impressed with Cozumel.

Without flying or a long drive your only choice for a four day is Cozumel

The good news is Cozumel has a ton of private resorts that will let you use their facilities for free ! Tiki bars galore, ;)

sorry - did not mean to confuse anyone - lol. we were trying to find a 4 day that goes somewhere other than Cozumel. Driving a distance is possible so Florida may be an option if the price is right.

If you don't mind driving to Port Canaveral, Sensation does four night cruises to Nassau and Freeport and Ecstasy does four night cruises to Nassau and Freeport and five night cruises to Half Moon Cay, Nassau and Freeport OR five nights to Key West, Nassau and Freeport.
