Our first was our honeymoon on Carnival Destiny many moons ago. I wasn't too pleased with it so i'm hoping for better Carnival results this time.

 

I kind of liked the escort on my last cruise. I had hosted the Meet & Greet and NCL had surprised me with VIP status. When we checked in, they said, "oh! you're VIP, come with me!" It was so nice, for 2 weeks, to feel like somebody lol. We got to dine in the steakhouse all we wanted (brkfst & lunch), priority boarding/disembarking, escorted to the cabin to drop off our luggage, invites to captain's parties, pre-viewing of chocolate night, a tour of the bridge and chocolates/fruit baskets/champagne every night. I'll never be able to cruise enough to get VIP normally (nor spend enough for suites) so this was super special to experience it.

Happy Hump Day all y'all Crazies!!!

Yet another hot one today but we're a day closer to our cruise.

For you folks who live not too far from Galveston, John will be offering a Blogger's Breakfast on the morning that the Magic arrives from her TA... probably early... 6ish or so. I've been chatting with John about this for a bit and I need a rough number of our folks who might be attending...

Good Evening Crazies!

 

Our first cruise was on the Conquest for our 20th anniversary out of Nola....I wasn't too crazy about our inside room...I'm claustrophobic :eek:

 

we will definitely be cruising on her again with a window ;)....when she comes home :)

 

Mach....I'm trying to convince the DH that we need to do breakfast in Galveston....Nov sounds like a good time to visit the DDs....:D

Good Evening Crazies!

We have not had a lot of rain, but I must say the weather has been delightful and supposed to be cooler this weekend.

I wish I could be there for the Bloggers breakfast Mach, but that would be a bit of a long drive for us. I guess we will just have to wait for BC5, I can do it, I know I can.

Okay I am curious, after being on this group for several weeks now. Why are you asking Mach to slap you? Saw something about you guys ordering T-Shirts. I would be interested for sure. Is anybody staying in Galveston after the cruise? We thought we might do that if the weather is nice, if not we may drive up to Dallas and spend the night. The last time I cruised out of Galveston in February I nearly froze to death, when we got back from the cruise. So it will have to be extra nice for me to do that.

I am probably more excited about the Red Frog Pub than anything else on this cruise (well, with the exception of cruising with my Crazie buddies and John Heald!). Seriously, I'm dying to get onboard and get a tube! And some of the munchies sound devine. And a beer sampler....and a rum sampler....all the different mojitos....I think any time I go missing on this cruise, you all will know where to find me! I may need to find someone to share my tube with, though ;), DH is a one-beer kinda guy. Any takers? :D

 

 

Amy - DH & I will be in the red frog to tip a few with ya!;)
