Vancouver's Pan Pacific or Fairmont Waterfront?

We are torn between the Pan Pacific Hotel or the Fairmont Waterfront. Help us choose. They both seem like nice hotels and convenient to the cruise ship dock. Is one better than the other.:confused:

We went with the Pan Pacific because it is right where the ships leave from. We got a great rate on Travelocity.

They are both great. The Pan Pacific is on the side where the ships dock. We prefer that for a pre cruise so we don't have to pull our luggage across the street.

If I'm not mistaken, both have bell hops who will get your luggage to the port for you. We stayed at the Pan Pacific when we went before and found it nice. When we go back next week, we're staying there again, primarily because we got a much better rate than at the Fairmont which seems to get slightly better reviews.

Linda, you are correct. I usually just like to get over to the pier without the assistance of a bell hop but they will gladly help you over there.
