JPH814 Posted May 24, 2011 #51 Share Posted May 24, 2011 It will vary for me. I do up a little spreadsheet - this is what I budget for my wife and me:

Excursions - will vary depending on the cruise
Dinner wine ($50 a night - one bottle of wine per dinner. We can usually get one for less than this, especially if we buy the wine package)
Daily drinks - afternoons by the pool, evening at the comedy club or piano bar ($40 per day)
Gratuities ($20 per day plus an additional $20 each for the waiters and sewards)
One dinner in the steakhouse ($60 plus $20 gratuity)
Spa ($300 - assuming one massage for me and one for my wife)
"Other " pictures, souvinirs, etc. ($100 per day)
I also separately budget for my gambling in the casino. Usually averaging $100 per day This is usually generous and I usually spend less than what I budget.
Disneycruisers Posted May 24, 2011 #52 Share Posted May 24, 2011 My jaw dropped when I looked at our charges $1400;00 on our most recent cruise (Disney.) Then I realized that $100.00 went to airline baggage fees, $350.00 tips (plus, we tipped extra,) two meals at Palo and about $300.00 in excursions. Sadly, I'm reminded that we spend too much at the bar, on ALL of our cruises!:p
