Carnival pins?

I think getting extra pins is a great idea. When I go on the Liberty next year, I will be sure to get a few extra to share.

 

Does anyone have a Paradise pin? It was only a 4 day cruise, but if they've ever cruised for longer periods of time, there should be a pin and I would love to have it.

OK everyone, here is a way to find pins. I did it today

and got two Carnival pins for $1.00. They are not rare ones,

but they went to my supply.

Whenever you see a yard sale going on, stop and look. It only

takes a few minutes. I was told by another collector

that is how they found a Jubilee pin. They gave .50 for it.

Hope this helps trying to find those rare pins.

Yes, Carnival told me that it is only the longer (7+) cruises that give pins.

 

Not true. Was on the Fantasy 5/12/2008 cruise, a 5 day. (Carnival ran out of the pins for this ship sometime last year so some people didn't get one.) My cabin stewart gave me my pin after I asked for it a number of times on the 4th day. But I had already been to the Pursers desk and received one. I had to produce my Sign 'n Sail card that shows I was a Past Guest to get it.

 

They also give them on shorter cruises as I got one last year from a friend that went on a 4 day out of Ft. Lauderdale.

OK Everyone

 

I now have some Fantasy pins to give out, but I need a

Holiday pin to trade for it. The wonderful person that

sent me the Fantasy pins needs the Holiday pin.

 

Also I personally need 2 Splendor pins, one for my collection

and the other is for another wonderful person that has

given me a lot of pins to give away. This will put a :) on

my face to obtain the Splendor pin. I am willing to trade

a Fantasy pin for them.

Just found this section of CC today--saw it recommended over on the main Carnival board.

 

Since we'll be platinum on our upcoming cruise I thought it would be fun to put all of our pins on a CCL lanyard to wear ( :o I thought I it was an original idea, silly me)

 

Anyhow searched the house high and low and since I pride myself on NOT being a pack rat I am missing 3. :mad:

 

I need Fantasy, Pride and Paradise.

 

My friend is gonna pick up a lanyard in the gift shop on the Holiday for me and I'll ask her to see if she can get a couple of extra pins for trade.

Don't recall getting one on either Fantasy cruise. Got them on Elation, Miracle & Glory.

 

Of course, I have no idea where they are (except the Glory ones are still in my tote bag that's sitting in the floor waiting to be re-packed in December!).

 

Not a collector, but, are y'all saying that when I'm on Fascination in December that I won't get a pin?

I don't know for sure if you will get a pin on the Fascination or not.

But if you are not a collector, I would appreciate having the pins you

have so I can find good homes for them and put a :) on some ones

face.
