police46 Posted June 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2011 Sailing on the Dream Feb.04 2012 and was wondering if anybody had a hotel they would suggest for one night prior to the cruise? Preferably something close to the ocean that would offer a shuttle service to the port in the morning. Thanks in advance, Police46
firefly333 Posted June 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2011 country inn and suites. raddisson used to have free parking and shuttle no matter which room you booked, but now you have to book the cruise special. days inn is across from the public cocoa beach if you get in early enough you want to swim and they had a $99 cruise special as well. if they dont have a shuttle, there is a local shuttle for $4 from port canaveral or $5 from cocoa beach pp.
sheephugs Posted June 24, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2011 We stayed at the Radisson Resort at the Port about 4 or 5 years ago. It was a fantastic deal. Somethng like $130.00 for the 3 of us to spend the night before the cruise, parking for the week, shuttle to and from the ship and a spectacular breakfast buffet. I'm talking omlettes and eggs made to order not cereal & make your own waffles. On the way to the ship we even saw some sort of rocket being launched. Not sure how they are now but you might want to check out their website. Enjoy your cruise.
ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted June 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2011 you will get hotels closer to the ocean in Cocoa Beach than in PC.
DarthGrady Posted June 24, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2011 We've stayed at Country Inn and Suites twice now before cruises from PC. It has parking and a shuttle service to the pier. It also has a nice pool deck with a big hot tub.
luv2cruise89 Posted June 24, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2011 We've stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach. It is one block from the ocean and has free parking and free shuttle to the Port. I booked directly with the hotel and asked for the park and cruise rate. BOSN Posted June 24, 2011 #7 Share Posted June 24, 2011 We've stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach. It is one block from the ocean and has free parking and free shuttle to the Port. I booked directly with the hotel and asked for the park and cruise rate. Radisson has a "Park & Cruise" rate with a shuttle to port. They also run a daily shuttle around for hotel guests. If your looking for a good dinner the night before, recommend "Fish Lips". Had the best Alaskan King Crabs Legs I've ever had.
