Rare shof515 Posted June 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2011 you can do it during the booking process online. Otherwise just give carnival a call and they should be able to help you
JennLuvs2Cruise Posted June 29, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2011 I usually pre-pay my tips when I book my cruise. Prepaid gratuities is part of our cruise total cost & something we like to get out of the way.
flasaltwater Posted June 29, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted June 29, 2011 Thanks for the quick responses We've already booked and were thinking it might be a good idea if we can swing it to pay the Gratuities up front and out of the way. Ill probably give Carnival a call. Thanks
sparkscruiser Posted June 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2011 I figure I will prepay those a month before we cruise - that way it does not interfere with my cruise spending......
trptplayer22 Posted June 29, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2011 Just asked my PVP this question a couple of weeks ago when I paid the cruise off. She said I could call and pay the tips anytime I wanted or when I cruise. I'm thinking I'd like to pay anything I can before we sail. I'm going to go ahead and get my bottle of Seagrams and DH his drink tickets ahead of time too. We did that last year and it worked good for us. zqvol Posted June 29, 2011 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2011 If we want to prepay the gratuities do they need to be paid before or on when our last payment for our cruise is due?? or do we have right up until the time we cruise. TIA The cutoff is about 2 weeks prior to sailing. (amazing that of all the responses in this thread only one attempted to answer the OP's question). TIA Just call customer service and tell them you want to prepay the gratuities. We did it after our cruise was paid off and it was no problem. It shows up on your cruise documents after you complete the fun pass registration.
pdsgt Posted July 6, 2011 #9 Share Posted July 6, 2011 I let 'em charge it to my Sail & Sign Card. That way if there is a problem with someone I can adjust the gratuity accordingly.
