b2b British Isles cruises

Recommended Posts

We are in the process of planning a Princess British Isles cruise in 2012. The problem is that there are two different itineraries and I can't decide which one to go on so I'm wondering if we should just do b2b cruises and see all of the ports. Personally, it wouldn't bother me to see some ports twice and then see them well. DH is questionning the wisdom of this. My preference would be to do the UK on our own as a driving holiday but that isn't possible nor is a bus tour. Reasons why are that is just the way it is.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this before.

If there are 2 different itineraries that would fit a B2B go for it?

The way I look at it is I have flown this far may as well see what I can ;)

Last year we did Amsterdam to Dover doing France, Belgium & ports in between

2nd leg was Dover to Copenhagen via Norway

We did have a couple of duplicate ports , Oslo & Copenhagen but you can find thing to do both stops twice ;)

If you find a cruise you like go for it

Happy Canada Day, Lyn!

Last year we did a TA that morphed into a Baltic cruise and so were in Oslo and Copenhagen twice. We really enjoyed the chance to see different things on each occasion. Because one only gets teased when visiting ports, we want to spend a few days in both London and Paris before the BI cruise when we are fresher. Of course, money is always a factor and, as my DH keeps reminding me, it can only be spent once. :D So, getting the most bang for the buck is of first importance as well as making it the best experience possible.

Anyway, lots to think about. Enjoy your day.

You can remind him you only live once & you cannot take it with you ;)

My DH hates to fly so I have to make the most of it when we do :D

I usually try to book B2B when we cruise just less stress on the flying end of it

Enjoy Canada Day!!
