Aft or Forward

About to book the next cruise. Currently have two cabins that are almost aft on the ship. Just found out that there are two forward cabins on the ship. Trying to figure out which ones to take. The aft cabins are very close to the elevator (noisy? smokey?) and the forward cabins are as far forward as you can go without being Leonardo DiCaprio. They are all balcony cabins on the port side. Since we do not smoke we thought that the forward cabins would be better as no one could be smoking in front of us. Movement doesn't matter. The forward cabins are located under the bridge while the aft cabins are sandwiched between cabins.

What are ya'lls thoughts. I am finalizing the reservations in the morning.

We will be sailing on the Liberty.

Thanks!

I prefer aft. As far as the engines are concerned, they run most of the length of the ship. I find less motion aft although it's mostly a coin toss. Vibrations are mostly a problem when docking which occurs early. If you are an early riser, no problem. Otherwise go forward.
