Cocoa Beach Hotels??

Can you recommend any nice pre-cruise hotel in Cocoa Beach?

In the signature for any post by Shirley (SNelsonBrown) there's a link to the post describing all the hotels transportation etc.

 

For an on the beach hotel, La Quinta usually offers good rates.

We have stayed at Ron Jon's Resort twice and enjoyed it both times, it's pricey but a lot of fun.

We had a hard time finding a hotel with any vacancy in Cocoa for this weekend. We leave from Port Canaveral on Sunday. We ended up getting a room in Daytona.

we stayed at the Radisson at the Port last December-it was OK, this December we are staying over at the Comfort Inn Cocoa Beach with their Fly, Snooze and Cruise pkg--hubby stayed at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach and liked that.

We were very happy with Doubletree. We got a great rate through hiltonfamilymvp.com using our hhonors #.

Reason being that we have our last shuttle launch supposely is suppose to go off this Friday hopefully and if it is cancelled then it will be tried again another day - places to stay here are booked months in advance so this is the reason - please be aware that we are expecting close to a million folks here for the launch and traffic is going to be horrendous with a lot of fusterated drivers - make sure you allow for a lot of time to get to the ships ok?

The Hampton Inn was very nice and we had a room with a balcony

that faced the ocean. Ron Jons surf shop and several stores were

in walking distance.
