Oriana makeover

Recommended Posts

I've just received my Portunus Club magazine and see that the Oriana is to undergo a makeover during this years northern winter.

All set to become "child free" for its upcoming 2012 world cruise, its getting a makeover of the spa area, those fabulous tiered aft decks, along with a new bar and a couple of new upmarket speciality restaurants.

Sounds great.

May be just the thing to nudge me towards the 2012 Singapore - Brisbane leg of the upcoming world cruise.

I've been considering this cruise sector all year and now with the new makeover I may just have to grab a cabin:)

Not that I need much convincing for another Singapore trip - and on my favourite ship.:D:p

Interesting, will be child free like Arcadia, but Arcadia is childfree 100% of the time. But I wonder, what about the kids belonging to the ship's senior officers ? I wonder if they are/will be allowed on Arcadia/Oriana ? Officers families often travel with the officer.

When checking out line voyages for next year, I was tossing up between Oriana, Aurora and Arcadia, but the Arcadia route got me, via Africa.

Oriana is going to be in service for a while yet then with a makeover. Nice looking ship she is, in particular as you say..those tiered aft decks, beautiful.
