What time should driver pick up in Rome

Our ship arrives at 4:00 in the Rome port, and I know they usually like everyone off by 9:30, what time should we tell our driver to pick us up so that he is not waiting and we are not waiting. We will be staying in Rome so we don't have to worry about catching flights.

Assuming the ship does arrive on time, anytime after 7 AM should be OK.

Just be sure you sign up for the luggage tag color that will let you leave the ship at the time you want.

We arranged for our driver to pick us up at 8:30, and found that 8:00 would have been perfect (time for breakfast before heading out, without having to stand around and wait).

Thank you that is exactly the information I was looking for.
