I have Hurricane Irene heading at me and I'm in Zone A for head out but really do not want to leave and if so.. My Dress and Shoes OMG.. Hopefully it's not that bad that everything can been saved..

Plus I have my girls and my FI my father and mother here with me..

Double bag your dress and shoes, hang them in the highest place you can and get out while public transportation is still running. Good luck.

It wasn't as bad as they predicted thankfully.

We have a friend in Zone B and even though he is a few blocks from Zone A he said he was not leaving. We had invited him to come stay with us since we didn't have to evacuate and weren't in immediate danger. Hope you faired well.

Yes thank god by me the water did rise but didn't do majior damage i make sure my dress was safe just in case the wind break windows from trees or anything.. lol Just wish I had hot water thou.. lol
