Can you get cash back from the pursers desk off of your S&S account, if you used cash to set it up? I'm putting $400 in my daughters S&S account and if by the last port she's low on cash but has enough left in S&S will she be able to get cash from her account? Thanks for all your help here... I've been reading CC for a while now & I LOVE it! :)

Yes, the last night you can cash out, i.e. ask for cash, not a check. I had to do that once. I forgot my credit card and had to use cash.

I believe if there is any $$ left on the account you will be issued a cheque the last day/morning of the cruise!

What I'm asking is if you can get cash before the end of the cruise.... like on the 4th or 5th day....

I was going to tell you to do it through a slot machine in the casino, but if your daughter is under 18, it won't accept her card.

Or you could just put part of the cash on her S&S at a time. For instance, start with $200. If she needs more add another $100. That way the extra cash is in your safe.
