Sonicked Posted September 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Hi all, I have booked and paid in full an interior room on the Rhapsody for November 27th. I've recently noticed that the price for an 'outside' ocean view guarantee is about 20 dollars less than what I have paid for the interior room. Is it acceptable to ask to be upgraded to this ocean view guarantee? Is it even worth it? I'd love a bit of feedback.

Don't hesitate. You have nothing to lose.
alexkrn46 Posted September 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Not really an upgrade, but paying for what the going rate is. Ask I think your request is fair.
Sonicked Posted September 18, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Thanks, Kittycat and Alex. I don't suppose anyone could shed any light as to whether it would be worth it? We'd likely go from Aft Deck 8 to deck 2 or 3.
Merion_Mom Posted September 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Thanks, Kittycat and Alex. I don't suppose anyone could shed any light as to whether it would be worth it? We'd likely go from Aft Deck 8 to deck 2 or 3. It depends whether you would like some natural light in your cabin. Rhapsody is not a huge ship - being on Deck 2 or 3 is no problem. Will certainly look into it some more, thanks for the reply :)
KittyCat1Million Posted September 18, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Yes, I would go for the outside cabin. I have sailed in pretty much all the cabin types and an outside beats an inside every time. Good luck and have an awesome cruise. Oh, and welcome to Cruise Critic.
