Time for Sawgrass Mills

We will be arriving back from NOS on 12/10 and our flight does not leave FLL until 4:30pm. Would this be enough time to rent a car and go to the mall and get back in time for our flight?

I would think so. I dilly dallied getting off Oasis until the cabin steward told me I had to leave my cabin. My friend picked me up. We went to her house and hung out for an hour or two, then we went to Sawgrass Mall and walked the entire mall from one end to another (not really shopping, she needed to get in 5000 steps for her work). By 3 pm we were seated in a Mexican restaurant eating. .. maybe by 2:30 pm even.

 

I had a late flight out myself.

Just make sure you are back at your car by 2 PM. You should be able to get at least 3 hours in at the mall. Study the mall diagrams so that you park near what you are interested in. The most popular store seems to be the Coach outlet, which is in the Collonades area. Saks, Burberry, and Neimans outlets are near there also.
