marc62 Posted October 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Hello We have just got our flight details through for our cruise on Infinity next year. Our flights are Haethrow to Seattle via a flight change in Vancouver. Is it possible to book the seat we would like as I have seen that you can book them now if you purchase tickets via airline now. Outgoing - Continental Airlines (operated by Air Canada) Return - Air Canada Many thanks for your help Marc
Gonzo70 Posted October 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Do you have the flight confirmation number (generally six digits, often letters rather than numbers or a combination; some airlines call this something different, i.e. booking reference number)? If not, call the cruise line (or your travel agent if you used one) to obtain this number. Once you have the flight confirmation numbers, go to the airline's website and see if you click on "Manage My Bookings" (or something similar, different airlines have different wording). You can then retrieve your reservation and may be able to select your seats. Be advised that some airlines charge a fee to pick seats in advance and some airlines do not permit you to pick seats in advance with certain reduced fare classes of tickets. Rare ghstudio Posted October 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Call air canada reservations....you should be listed on the flight...and the reference number you have probably isn't the reference number in the air canada system...it's probably the continental reference number. Just ask air canada if you can reserve seats...or how to reserve seats. Don't call Continental....they just sell the flight....and unlikely they can book seats.
