Day Trip to St Johns

We will be on the NCL Epic in February and one of the stops in St Thomas. We are considering a trip to St John's since we've already been to St Thomas. We looking for a nice beach with a bar where we can sit and have cocktails. There are not any excursions for the ship that we like. Can anyone suggest a ferry company and a place to go?

Thx

Take the water taxi from Crown Bay to Water Island. Honeymoon beach is a nice beach. It has a couple of bars. They do sell cocktails. The pizza boat will come in for lunch or take a picnic lunch from Crown Bay.

You can take a cab to redhook where the ferry will take you to St John for 6 dollars. when you get to St john you can get a cab at the end of the pier to any where on the island. Also at the end of the pier to the right is a bar named High Tide it is on the bay looking out on Cruz bay. nice place to have a drink and wait on the ferry. you can take a tour of the island for around $25 a person ,it takes around two hours and is worth it

you can take the ferry right from Charlotte Amalie, but they only run 3 each way. More convienient if it meets yous schedule. Trunk Bay has drinks if I remember. Caneel Bay is part of the resort, but you can use the beach. Just check in at the desk. I prefer Cinnamon Bay, but we bring our own 'supplies'.
