Cabin J1043 on Eurodam or NA

Anybody know what that white space is on either side of this cabin? Would the white space be a good thing or a bad thing? Or is it just a mystery, so we should avoid it? :)

Thanks in advance.

In general, unlabeled white space is crew work space or living quarters. In the case of 1043, because they are narrow, I would guess they are just passage-ways to the interior ship area, but they could be linen closets or similar storage.

I don't recall it being a linen closet, as the steward supply area is closer to mid-ship (near the restroom). A passageway is a distinct possibility.

What I do remember is that the area is quiet, which I expect is the real question here.

I vaguely remembered someone posting here about those spaces, and searched. Came up with:

That's not exactly what I thought I'd find. Thought I remembered someone who peeked into "back of the house". So, there may be more specific posts here than that one. Then again..."They say memory is the first thing to go"....

Thank you, Ruth. That's all I really need to know.

I'll try and take some photos of that area for Joanie's site, too.
