ENGINE Room Tour (Behind the Fun)

I surmise that all ship's tours avoid the engine room spaces because you might run into this guy:

I was debating on doing this tour on the Valor next month. Can anyone tell me what time of day the tour generally is?? We only have two sea days, and I didn't want to hog the last sea day alone on a tour. (rest of my family doesn't want to go) I love stuff like this, and it's my first real cruise. So, I'm thinking I would really enjoy it.

 

I took this on the Conqust and LOVED it ! It was like 8am or something like that

We took it on the Paradise in February and had a wonderful time. It was the highlight of our 3 day cruise and even our 9 year old who was 8 at the time liked it.

I know my father would absolutely love to do this but he's elderly and a slow walker. Is it possible to get a wheelchair to push him from place to place-then he can stand and walk around at each location? We're on the Pride at the end of January.

Using a wheelchair on this tour is not possible. There are many stairs to negotiate. I can recall using the elevator only once. Sorry.

Yes, it is on a sea day. On the Pride, the tour was on the last sea day.
