Taxi Service to pier

Since there are so few hotels with cruise shuttles...Will there be any trouble getting taxi cabs to the pier on Sunday morning (3/4/12) for my cruise on the Magic? Not sure how many cabs are available on the island, but I would think they will be in very high command.... Should I call them the night before to reserve?

 

Has anybody had any difficulty getting cabs? There will be 5 of us and we are hoping for a VAN cab?

Very easy just request a van moat have them Galveston port for Magic I believe
