Sapphire Princess Cruise

I am curious if there are others out there that have booked the Southbound Alaska cruise on the Sapphire Princess for June 9-16. My husband and I have never been to Alaska and are looking forward to a wonderful time. Thought it would be fun to do some pre-cruise chatting!

If there is a thread started you'll find other folks on your cruise over on the Roll Calls forum for the Sapphire. This forum is the best place to get information about Alaska though.

Best bet is to go to the Roll Call Board to find other members from Cruise Critic on your cruise.

We are going on that cruise as well. Have you booked any excursions yet? We haven't and I have no idea what to book.

Yes, I have several excursions booked:

 

Juneau - Whale watching with Harv and Marv. Independent tour, not through Princess

 

Ketchikan - Two hour Misty Fjords flight seeing tour with Michelle - Island Wings. Independent tour, not through Princess

 

Skagway - Heli-Hike & Rail Adventure - through Princess.

 

It was not easy to decide...good luck!

Having done that itinerary on the Diamond on a b/b basis some 18 mos ago I would say that you have picked an itinerary that is pretty hard to beat....have a great time.
