kywhiskey Posted December 3, 2011 #26 Share Posted December 3, 2011 I was on the same cruise from Barcelona to Venice and pretty much agree with everything said, especially the wines. We are not wine snobs, but the wines, expecially the whites, were cheap and they didnt offer any variety. This is the one complaint we put on our mid cruise review and within one day we were contacted by the head sommelier who offered us some different choices for the rest of our cruise. I was impressed that fixed this very quickly for us. It is a shame though that they don't have more choicse for the wines that are included. I suggest if you are not happy with the wine being poured to talk to the head sommelier who may give you more options. We ended up eating many times at La Veranda for diner as it was not only very good, but much quicker than Compass Rose. Compass Rose a few times took 2 hours and after a long day in port that was too long for diner for us.

My website is public and my personal location is there.
