picture prices?

The $10 and $12 pics are the smaller ones 5x7 and 6x9 (I just measured them).

Like you, I no longer pose-for or buy the 8x10s because they are now $22 each!

A young photographer lady asked that we pose for her: I said no thanks

but I also took the time to tell her that my answer will always be a No

because those posed photos taken along the Promenade Decks at night

are always printed at 8x10 and simply cost too much.

She apologised.

I asked why don't they print the same pics at smaller size?

she said Company policy, and I said...in that case, my answer will remain No.

We both shrugged our shoulders and parted ways.

Carnival Corp. made No Sale. :)

I agree. I once bought a 8x10 of our family sitting at the dining table because they only print them in 8x10's. Doesn't fit in any album of mine so I'm really not sure why I bought it. They would sell more photo's if they offered them in smaller sizes but the general rule of thumb for them is to print in 8x10's and if you want a smaller size, they will reprint smaller only after you buy the 8x10 so usually I don't get them. I heard the newer ships have a kiosk now to order the photo's you want. That would be much better.
