QM2 inspected by USPH, November 17 2011

Just a quick update from the QM2, the USPH inspected the ship today in New York and she scored 100%. Congratulations to all those concerned.

I will say no more about it but I am sure that others will.

Agree, but in the comments after her last inspection, some had expressed the opinion that a score around 90 was all that she was capable of due to her "age."

 

I didn't hear that QM2's age was a factor rather the lazy way Cunard is managed was a factor. When QM2 was reinspected after failing her health inspection she did indeed recover with a passing grade. However, that particular score was the second lowest she ahd ever achived next to her failing grade. Now, thankfully, her operators have achieved a score of 100 which is great but it took 2 tries to get there. Not a ringing endorsement of her operators/managers.

 

The key is wether Carnival/P&O can keep that score going in the future.
