Hi,

Leaving tomorrow on the LIberty!!!! Just wondering what the dress code is for the steak house.

Thanks

Enjoy the Liberty, great ship, we have sailed on her 4 times. David's Steakhouse is a wonderful experience. Here is dress code from the Carnival website:

Please note: Steakhouses are only available on Conquest-class, Spirit-class, Splendor-class and Dream-class ships. Please refer to Carnival.com to see if your ship has a steakhouse onboard. Requested dates and times will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. If requested time is full, the next available time slot will be assigned. The $30 fee includes an appetizer, entrées, desert and the wait staffs' gratuity; additional gratuities are optional and may be extended in cash or to the guest's Sail & Sign Account, at the guest's discretion. The reservation fee does not include any beverage that is normally ordered through the bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water. The dress code requires that men wear jackets on the 'Cruise Elegant' nights of the cruise. By popular request, all dining rooms are smoke-free. Please allow 2 1/2 hours for dining experience.

Other nights, the only restriction we saw was no shorts.

Cruise casual or Cruise Elegant whatever the nightly dress code is for that night.

I will add that we went cruise casual and felt very under dressed.

Our reservation was on the 1st night. When we returned later in the week we felt appropriately dressed wearing a little more dressy.

The dress code follows the dress code specified for that evening on board; if the evening is specified as Cruise Casual, shorts are not permitted.

Just back from Liberty about 2 weeks. We went to Harry's steakhouse and they said that DH did NOT have to wear a jacket. He wore a collared shirt and casual pants...no tie. He was fine. There were others dressed in jeans and a nice shirt. It was not elegant night when we went.

We went a little dressy - I wore dress pants and a nice top - daughter wore a nice sundress - husband and son wore dress pants - dress shirt and tie (no jacket). There were some dressier and some not so dressy - some even in jeans and sweat shirts. Seemed like anything would go
