Mid August I booked a Guarantee D8 standard inside for the Caribbean cruise leaving on Sunday 27th. Early Oct the TA advised that I had been allocated a D2, still inside but more room. Today I printed off the labels and was surprised to see the cabin No. was changed. We now have an ocean view on deck 4. Not Bad. I think it overlooks the lifeboats but from the picture I have it does not seem to be an obstructed view. Nobody informed me of this cabin change so it was a nice surprise. I also note that there are 6 formal nights 5 of which are entitled; Cunard Ball. London Ball, Venetian Masked Ball, Elizabethan Ball and Starlight Ball. The other is just a plain formal night. I've seen the Venetian but the others are new to me.

James I have my fancy dress all set up for each night. It's a black suit with shiny lapels, a white shirt and a black bow tie. Now how good is that? Adventurous or what.

Shiny

PS. I forgot to mention my VERY SHINY shoes.

It is well known that the only way you can get onto the cruise fairy's list - is to have been already visited by her. Fortunately, we have - and are therefore on her list.

Barry

Yes, but there has to be a first time for you to get on her list . . . . . and I'm living in hope that I will be added to her list for my next voyage. :)

Hang about, Bazz! I'm still trying to get my head round that one

There's got to be a Limerick in there somewhere, but I'll have to leave it to Shiny. :D

I think I've discovered the chink in

Our Bazza's lateral thinking.

'Cos to GET on the list

You must BE on the list.

(I think the bugger's been drinking.)

The mystery of the Cruise Fairy's list is just another one of the enduring mysteries of life - another is "the chicken or the egg??" conundrum :)

Another one was when I was in the RAAF. "How do I get onto the overseas postings list??" - "you can only get onto that list if you have already been posted overseas and proved your worth." Unfortunately I never did get one of those plum Attache jobs in London, Washington, etc

Barry Barry, it there are any two people unsuited for the diplomatic corps, it is me and you! There is hope for world peace yet! :)

Regarding the Upgrade Fariy: I think it would be great fun if there was a late nite theme one night - The Upgrade Fairy Ball! :)
