Port Canaveral

We are stopping in PC on our cruise. Is there anything to do right there in the port? Or do we have to rent a car and go off the port to have some fun?

Kennedy Space Center is only minutes away. There may be bus shuttles available from the pier.

Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach for a beach day are the only local options. Since Disney is at least an hour away by car, it might be a stretch to plan on a day trip by rental car. This might be a port for a ship tour, at lease you won't have to worry about getting back on time. Once car accident or delay on the highway and who knows what time you will return to the ship!
