Looking to book a last minute cruise on the Millenium and was wondering if there are any obstructed view balconies. We usually book Gty because its cheaper and I don't really care where I am on the ship.I just really like the view from the balcony. Thanks

Yes, some of the balconies have a view is blocked by the forward of the hump balcony panel cleaning platform if it is parked between them. Also the three most forward deck 7 balconies have a view that's obstructed by vertical posts. This is what the X website states and even that list isn't complete.

Staterooms 7014, 7016, 8047, 8048, 8049,8051,8052, 8053, and 8054 have partially obstructed views.

From what I understand this platform alternates from front to back from cruise to cruise since it's used to wash the glass on the balconies. I can't recall which of the above cabins we were in, but we were lucky and the platform remained at the opposite end of the ship for our entire cruise.

Yes, since these platforms are movable they can be left anywhere but likely these will be left between the deck 8 cabins in the warning which should include 8050. Not all listed cabins will be affected at the same time as the forward platform on either side is only parked between two adjacent balconies. IMO, the deck 9 cabins above the deck 8 cabins listed may have it's view impacted but not to the same extent.

In the picture above from our last March Connie cruise, the forward starboard platform was between 8094 and 8096 and the obstructed view warning listed those cabins. The rear platforms are left astern of the last side balconies so these two aren't a problem.
