FLL hotels for Dec. 2012

Do you think it's too early to start bidding on a hotel for Dec.?

 

There will be about 5 couples and we like staying around 17th st.

 

Is priceline the best option? thanks !

The closer you get to christmas, the harder it will be to get a good deal on 5 rooms in the same hotel.Book somehting now that you can live with and cancel without penalty, and then keep shopping.

Absolutely too early for Priceline. If I were you I'd call the hotels on 17th St. and see what kind of block rate they can give you now. If you are traveling early Dec, rates will be much better than the last two holiday weeks. Plus hotels have more vacancies.

 

As John says, line something up that you can cancel or rebook at a lower cost if it drops and then start looking for deals after Easter.
