Location/Map Questions

I've been trying to figure this out as well, but the best I've come up with is Google Maps and some tour books have smaller maps on some pages. My AAA didn't have anything and suggested I look at Barnes & Noble's website, but it's too late for me on that.

:( I am glad i am not alone, I was starting to think it was just me lol. Who would have known it would be so hard to find any decent maps of someplace that's traveled so often???

I guess the best I can do is then google, all the tour guide maps that I found only have a small portion or they are just small to begin with

24TimeZones offers nice ones, but not of every locale in the Bahamas. When you click on these links, at upper right, switch from satellite to "map", then use the zoom tool at upper left to focus in detail. I was able to locate Nassau and Freeport, but that's about it.

This is totally what I'm looking for! Although I had a thought earlier today that maybe we'll find one when we get off the ship? I noticed today that the Walgreens near me had roadmaps of local areas, including touristy areas... ?

Does anyone know where I could find detailed maps of the bahamas...I tried just googling but they are so small! >_<. I wanted to be able to find out how far everything is located.

Thanks ^_^

The bahamas is made up of 700 islands and over 2000 cays. Which area are you looking for?

If you are looking for Nassau, there are none that I know of that have all the streets. (and I live here)..

You should be able to located a general map of the tourist area and main roads.. it's unsafe to travel some parts of the island, so there's really no need to have any more detail than whats available to tourists.

Online Google Maps has as much information as you will find anywhere.

As for the out islands, there is generally just 1 main road on any map that I have seen. Small roads are not even shown on the maps.

Again. Google Maps online can show you this.

When you arrive in town, there are maps available near the port exit to help you get around.

Here's a map of nassau that shows the main roads..
