Review Nieuw Amsterdam

Recommended Posts

Be sure to go to Tamarind (if you like Asian food)! We went to Tamarind 4 evenings on our New Year's cruise on NA. Every night was outstanding and, apart from dessert -- the "mango cloud" which is to die for -- I never had the same thing twice. The menu is posted somewhere on CC if you're interested.

Thanks, I am aware of Tamarind - we sailed twice on the Eurodam. :)

Loved the NA - it's a beautiful and well run ship with a happy crew - and rebooked onboard for next year.

Good to hear. In a few months, I'll be on NA and it will be my first HAL experience. I'm looking forward to a new experience.

...and heard people on both sides of us talking. Not much installation.

I'm a pretty mellow person, but noise from neighboring cabins is a peave of mine. I'm curious if anyone else who has sailed NA and several other ships of other lines had the same experience and opinion??
