Tips in MTD

I am sure that there is thread somewhere about this but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if waitstaff pool their tips in the MTD dining room?

Since you have to pre-pay your gratuities when you sign up for MTD, yes the gratuities are pooled.

 

If you chose to give your wait staff something extra, that is theirs to keep.

It's not that they are "pooled"...but since each MTDer is required to pre-pay their tips, each waiter/ass't waiter gets their share...just as if you are tipping in person. So, "pooled" or not...each person gets what's due to them!
