pjc215 Posted February 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I really like NCL the best. One thing that I really enjoyed (about the only thing) about Princess was that you could reserve a special Chef's Table. It was advertised for dining enthusiasts, and let me tell you it really was the highlight of not only that cruise, but any cruise I have been on. I have just booked my latest NCL Cruise in July on the Gem and I was wondering if NCL does anything similar. Thanks!! -pj

I have always wanted to do the Chef's Table on Princess but have never been picked for the honor.
DMH15 Posted February 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I did the Chef's Table on Carnival's Paradise last year. It was lovely. A great experience. Cost was $75 and I tipped $40. Worth every penny.
cliffd64 Posted February 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2012 Actually, NCL does do this on certain ships, but not all the time... by various names. It is largely dependent upon the food and beverage manager and the hotel director. I have enjoyed this on the Dawn, and also on the Spirit.
