Sightseeing outside Amsterdam

Heading to Uden for an hour, are there any particular spots to stop and see enroute. (Driving so all routes are an option.)

Knowing how difficult parking and sometimes expensive can be in The Netherlands, despite that you might try and visit the nice old town of 'Den Bosch (or officially name 's Hertogenbosch). Interesting old church, nice canals where you can make a boattrip. Famous by the old painter Jeroen Bosch, interesting museum etc.

Also the university city Utrecht is very well known for its cathedral.

Utrecht is definitely worth checking out, not that far and lots to see. The boat tours through the 'grachten' are great, and it's a beautiful old city.
