Radiance vs voyager

Recommended Posts

I have been on the Rhapsody of the sea.

Iam looking at doing another cruise but cant decide.

Can any one tell me the difference between Radiance and the Voyager .

Any info would be helpful

Thanks

This may help describe each ship for you Voyager of the Seas vs Radiance of the Seas

The biggest difference is that on Voyager of the Seas you have the Royal Promenade where on Radiance you do not.

Voyager is 1,020 ft in length where Radiance is only 962 ft in length.

Passenger capacity is approximately 4370 for Voyager and 2502 for Radiance.

Both ships are grand in their own way. Voyager is not too big and easy to get around on board. Radiance has the plenty of glass. I think it really depends on the destination.

Radiance is great for Alaska. Voyager is better for fun in the sun and Med

cruises. This is a tuff decision. We have been on both.

For us the biggest difference is windows for viewing. The Voyager class Promenade takes away all the glass and open space for viewing. There is little to none sitting areas that allow you to sit and read with an ocean view.

The Schooner bars are also different, bigger on the Radiance than the Voyager.

The Radiance class has a smaller shopping area where the Voyager class has a shopping mall feel to it.

The solarium's have the biggest difference. Radiance has an enclosed glass solarium, where the Voyager has no roof and is open.

Both ships are great and its just a matter of what is most important to you!! ;)
