Looking for something to do while in Caymans.

Found this as an option for $12 to include beach, towels and pool.

Any info on other options for rent such as Kayaks?

Any issues with transportation from pier?

Crowded? Food an Drink?

Thanks!

There is a bus ($2.50 pp) that will take you all along 7 Mile Beach...just tell them where to drop you. Return buses are plentiful.

There are watersport rentals up and down the beach....they are independant operators...

7 Mile Beach is narrow, as are most Caribbean beaches....they are not packed by any means. There is food/drink/restrooms up and down the beach as well.

Went in February, it was a good deal and not crowded. Walked up and down the beach and other resorts were much more crowded.

Didn't see any watersport rentals right in front of Marriott, but like cb at sea said there are nearby.

Food was very expensive, be warned. We got two sandwiches and two sodas and it came to approx. $52 US.

Took a tour bus there for $4 I believe. On the way back, we walked towards the port and caught a bus for $2.50 each.

My wife and I are staying on the north side of GCI this week. I called the Marriott this morning regarding their Day Pass. I was informed the discontinued this offering "over a year ago." When I asked why they responded there were too many people, crowding, etc.

I still see plenty of postings about this pass, but it is dead as can be.

You resurrect a year old thread to tell us an item is dead?
