Just off Elation.....fantastic and fabulous

Recommended Posts

We were on the five-day Elation from 3/19-3/24, and we also really enjoyed it. We were first time cruisers (all of us - family of four including two teenage boys), and we enjoyed all of it so much that we already booked a next cruise (no kids). Our only hiccup was in Cozumel; the boat's gangway was closed from 9:30 until just after 10. We should have gotten off the boat as soon as it docked at 9:00, but we didn't, and after waiting in line for the gangway to re-open, we missed our excursion to Passion Island. Carnival refunded it, and we just hung around the port. We also stayed on the boat at Progreso, and we enjoyed having the down time while the ship was relatively quiet. Even with the excursion problem, we had a fantastic time and were impressed by the food options and the service everywhere. I wish we'd cruised a long time ago.
