Using Jetty park after a cruise

We have a few hours spare when we disembark from our cruise before we need to head back to the airport, as we wont have a car is it possible to walk, or is it a taxi ride to this park. Is this the best local place to spend this short amount of time.

from a PC terminal to the beach at Jetty Park is about 2.75 miles (varies slightly by teminal) thru an industrial area and crossing a draw bridge with all the cruise ship traffic. Probably not something you'd want to do ....

 

and if you do this, what do you plan to do with your luggage?

by virtue of asking about Jetty Park, I'm guessing Port Canaveral . . .

my apologies, I should have said Port Canaveral and Sandford Airport, and we are getting off of Carnival Ecstasy.
