When are formal nights?

When are formal nights on a 12 night cruise? I know there are suppose to be 3 but I wanted to see if anyone had any insight into what days they usually are.

Which cruise/itinerary? It will vary from cruise to cruise. A general rule of thumb is night #2, then a night somewhere in the middle (usually a sea day but not always) and then night #10. But if we know the specific itinerary, we can make a better estimate.

Please excuse my butting in. We are doing eastern Med on Equinox on 21st May, when would be the two formal nights please?

On the above cruise I would guess you are going to have your formal days on the 2 at sea days. Celebrity very often does formal days on port days but since day 2 and 3 are late nights in port, I woud say they will do day 4.
