Comparing shipboard activities

We are trying to decide between HAL, Princess, and Celebrity for a Caribbean cruise February 2013. We have sailed both HAL and Princess in the past. We found the activities and night time activities far superior on Princess but like the food and cabins on HAL. Itineraries and price are similar on all three cruises. How does Celebrity compare in activities and shows?

We've been on all three (Princess, Celebrity, & HAL) in the Jan/Feb time frame. For sure the best entertainment/evening entertainment is Princess. We like the food on Celebrity best ... but we also like the food on Princess better than HAL.

Just our opinion. Also, we have only been on 4 Celebrity & 4 HAL ... but lots of Princess cruises.

If you like the entertainment other than sitting on the balcony and letting the stars slide by you are much better off on Princess. Great use of multiple venues and lounges. Three and four things going on each eve vs. the one or two on both HAL and Celebrity. Yes, food is better on Celebrity but I think that HAL and Princess have pretty much evened out.

You won't find the multiple lounges/shows concept on Celebrity. Usually there will just be one show in the main theater and then live music in various lounges. I would say Celebrity is comparable to HAL when it comes to nighttime activity, though they don't roll up the sidewalks as early as HAL does. Daytime activities are comparable to Princess. Hope that helps.

Thanks, everyone. Your comments do help. We're leaning towards Princess although our TA would like us to experience Celelbrity.

Other pluses include smoking policy is better for us on Princess than HAL and we use the self-service laundry on Princess.
