Frank12 Posted April 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I just got back from the grocery store with a bottle of Clamato. I love a shot of it in an ice cold beer. The old "red-eye"! And yes, you can bring it on a cruise.
nybumpkin Posted April 22, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2012 FIL introduced me to this drink years ago - he called it a "Clamdigger." He was from Cleveland and visited Canada frequently, so I suspect he learned it from one of his Canadian friends - but I have no idea where the "Clamdigger" name originated. I like to substitute gin for the vodka.:) I wish they sold the individual Clamato bottles at our Wal-Mart.
